Vietnam aims to have 1,800 vocational education facilities by 2025
Vietnam has set a target to have 1,800 vocational education facilities by 2025, including three national high-quality vocational training centres and six regional centres. Such figures are part of a national plan for a network of vocational education facilities during the 2021-2030 period, with a vision for 2045, which was recently signed by Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang.
The proportion of private and foreign-funded vocational training facilities is expected to rise to 45% by 2025 and 50% by 2030. The plan also sets out a vision for 2045, when Vietnam’s vocational quality is among the top in ASEAN.
